Community Wellbeing Services
Accessible, practical support for healthier and happier communities
Wellbeing is shaped by more than our emotional and mental health. Our physical health, finances, home environment, relationships and access to practical support can all influence how we feel and function.
We provide community workshops, activities, resources and practical support across these connected areas of wellbeing.
Many of our services are delivered free through grant-funded projects and partnerships with community organisations.
Our whole-person approach
We work with communities to make wellbeing support accessible, relevant and useful in everyday life.
Emotional and mental wellbeing
Our psychology-informed workshops help people understand their wellbeing, recognise their strengths and develop practical coping strategies.
Topics may include stress, confidence, healthy boundaries, resilience, positive psychology and building a personal wellbeing toolkit.
Our workshops are educational and preventative. They are not a replacement for counselling, psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Physical wellbeing
We provide accessible activities that help people move, connect and care for their physical wellbeing.
Our seated-yoga sessions are available online and in person. They offer an adaptable form of movement for people with different ages, abilities and levels of mobility.
Activities can be delivered independently or as part of a wider community wellbeing programme.
Financial and practical wellbeing
Financial pressures, food costs and household energy use can all affect physical and emotional wellbeing.
Our practical support may include:
-
Healthy-eating resources for people on a limited budget
-
Ideas for affordable and nutritious meals
-
Guidance on reducing food waste
-
Information about improving energy efficiency at home
-
Items that may help reduce household energy use and improve comfort
-
Signposting to relevant community services
Our approach is realistic, accessible and non-judgemental.
Community packs and resources
Our community wellbeing packs bring together practical items, information and activities that support different areas of wellbeing.
Depending on the project, packs may include:
-
Wellbeing tools and reflective resources
-
Healthy-eating information
-
Energy-efficiency items and guidance
-
Practical activities
-

-
Resources linked to accompanying workshops
The contents and availability of packs depend on project funding, location and eligibility.
