Social Media Workshops

Within our Social Media Explored workshops, participants develop a deeper understanding of how social media affects their mental health. We develop skills to enable them to manage and understand the effect social media has on them.

We recommenced that you choose one topic per workshop or unit of work. This enables the participants to develop a deeper understanding and embed healthy social media habits into their lifestyle.

What do we cover within the Social Media Workshops?

The aim of our social media workshops is develop a deeper knowledge and understanding of how social media affects our mental health. Also, we aim to equip our participants with the skills required to enable them to know how to react when social media start to effect them.

We look at:

  • What effect those social media have on our mental health?
  • The positives and negatives of social media.
  • Recognising how social media makes us feel
  • Critical thinking- what is really real online?
  • Managing our use of social media.
  • Managing our online relationships.

Who are our workshops for?

We pride ourselves on diversity and can deliver our workshops in a number of formats:

  • Schools/Colleges – We offer assemblies, PSHE days, units of work, one-off lessons, intervention and staff CPD.
  • Universities– We offer guest lecturing, workshops and staff CPD.
  • Charities and youth organisations – We can deliver our content to the young people you work with, your staff and deliver wellbeing talks at any event you need.
  • Businesses – We can deliver wellbeing workshops to your staff too!
  • Events – Our keynote speaking makes wellbeing the centre of attention!

What age ranges are the Social Media Workshops suitable for?

Our social media workshops are suitable for Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5. Each workshop is designed bespoke for you and your participants. Children are exposed to social media at a young age now and educating them from an early stage enables us to be proactive rather than reactive! Also, our workshops can be adapted to university and corporate level.

How do we deliver our workshops?

We can deliver our workshops either in-person or online. We are based in Plymouth, Devon and if we are required to travel we do also add the travel and accommodation costs (if required) onto our price. If you are looking to cut costs then our online webinar system is a great way to deliver wellbeing workshops.
