Online one-to-one coaching
Psychology-informed coaching, tailored to you
I provide health and wellbeing, neurodivergent and executive coaching to help you better understand yourself, recognise your strengths and move forward with greater clarity.
Together, we will explore relevant psychological ideas and translate your insights into practical strategies for meaningful, sustainable change.
My Coaching Approach:
My role is not to tell you what to do or provide a generic formula to follow.
I use reflective questions, psychological insight and practical coaching techniques to help you understand yourself more deeply, consider different perspectives and identify personally meaningful ways forward.
My approach draws on four complementary areas:
Psychoeducation
Making psychological knowledge accessible so that you can better understand your wellbeing and develop practical strategies.
Positive Psychology
Helping you recognise your character strengths, supportive resources and the factors that contribute to wellbeing and flourishing.
Coaching Psychology
Supporting you to deepen your self-awareness, identify meaningful goals and translate insight into sustainable action.
Pedagogical Principles
Adapting information, reflection and practical activities to your individual needs, preferences and ways of learning.

Lauren Barratt
Psychology-Informed Coach, Educator and Founder of Wellbeing Workshops Devon CIC
I’m a psychology-informed coach, educator and the founder of Wellbeing Workshops Devon CIC.
My coaching practice focuses on health and wellbeing, neurodivergent coaching and executive coaching. I recognise that wellbeing, identity, relationships and working life are closely connected, so I work with the whole person rather than placing clients into fixed categories or following a generic programme.
I hold a master’s degree in psychology, Qualified Teacher Status and Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society. I am also currently working towards my BPS Coaching Accreditation, as part of my ongoing commitment to professional, ethical and evidence-informed coaching practice.
My approach combines psychological knowledge, education and collaborative coaching. I help you develop your understanding of psychological theories that are relevant to your experiences and translate that knowledge into practical strategies you can apply in your life.
This might involve exploring ideas relating to strengths, motivation, resilience, wellbeing, behaviour change, neurodivergence or sustainable performance. I make these concepts accessible and help you consider what they mean for you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular theory or model.
Clients can expect me to be warm, curious, honest and practical. I will listen carefully and without judgement, while asking thoughtful questions that can help you see yourself or your situation differently. Where appropriate, I will positively challenge you and help you turn greater understanding into realistic action.
My role is not to tell you who to be or prescribe a particular version of success. It is to help you understand yourself, recognise what matters and develop approaches that reflect your strengths, values, needs and circumstances.
Three coaching pathways I offer:
Neurodivergent coaching
Neurodivergent coaching offers an affirming space to explore your identity, strengths, needs and experiences without judgement or pressure to conform to neurotypical expectations.
You may want to better understand burnout, masking, energy management, communication, boundaries, workplace challenges or the adaptations that could support you. We can explore how neurodivergence influences your wellbeing and develop strategies that work with rather than against your individual way of thinking and experiencing the world.
You do not need a formal diagnosis to access coaching. Coaching does not provide a neurodevelopmental assessment or diagnosis.
Executive coaching
Executive coaching provides dedicated space for leaders, professionals and people navigating career development or transition to step back, reflect and think more clearly.
You may want to strengthen your leadership, build confidence and resilience, navigate a complex decision or manage the relationship between performance and wellbeing. Our conversations can help you recognise your strengths, understand how you respond to pressure and consider challenges from different perspectives.
The aim is to help you make thoughtful decisions, lead more intentionally and develop a sustainable approach to your professional responsibilities, development and wellbeing.
What Coaching Clients Say:
Health and wellbeing coaching
Health and wellbeing coaching gives you space to understand the factors affecting your wellbeing and identify changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
You may want support with stress, burnout, confidence, healthy boundaries, life balance or creating habits that better reflect your needs. Together, we can explore relevant psychological ideas, recognise the strengths and resources you already have and translate your insights into practical strategies.
The aim is not to prescribe a particular version of wellbeing, but to help you build a personal toolkit that works within your life, circumstances and priorities.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to know what I want to achieve?
No. You may have a specific goal, a general sense that something needs to change or simply a desire to better understand yourself. Our initial conversation can help you clarify what you would like from coaching.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your needs and goals. Some people want a focused individual session, while others benefit from a series of sessions that provides time for reflection, action and review. We can discuss the available options before you decide.
Can different areas of coaching overlap?
Yes. Coaching will be shaped around you rather than restricted to one category. For example, executive coaching may include wellbeing or neurodivergence, while health and wellbeing coaching may include career change or confidence.
Is online coaching confidential?
Coaching conversations are confidential, subject to the limits explained in our coaching agreement and any legal or safeguarding responsibilities.
Where an organisation funds your coaching, we will agree clear objectives and confidentiality boundaries before sessions begin. The content of coaching conversations will remain confidential unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise or disclosure is required for safety or legal reasons.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching is a collaborative, forward-looking process focused on self-awareness, learning, goals and action.
It is not counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment or crisis support. It may involve discussing challenges and emotions, but it does not aim to treat mental-health conditions or process significant trauma.
If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I will discuss this with you openly and may recommend seeking support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.
What happens before the first session?
Before coaching begins, we will have an initial conversation about what has brought you to coaching, what you would like support with and whether working together feels appropriate.
You will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about my approach, fees and available coaching options. There is no obligation to book following this conversation.
Do I need a formal diagnosis for neurodivergent coaching?
No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to explore your experiences, strengths and needs through a neurodivergent lens.
Neurodivergent coaching does not provide an assessment or diagnosis. It offers an affirming space to develop greater self-understanding and identify practical strategies and adaptations that work for you.
How much does coaching cost?
Individual coaching starts from £65 per 60-minute session. Executive coaching starts from £200 per 60-minute session.
Fees vary according to the type of coaching and level of professional support required. I will explain the available options and provide a clear price before you decide whether to proceed.
