Wellbeing Workshops Devon CIC
is a not- for profit organisation

which aims to embed a culture of happiness and health throughout the community. We work with all ages to explore what wellbeing means to them and equip participants of our workshops with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to live a happy and healthy life.

At Wellbeing Workshops CIC we work with a wide range of individuals across all demographics, this means that we create all of our workshops bespoke for whichever area of the community we are working with. You receive all workshop plans/units before your workshop takes place, giving you the opportunity to make any alterations to your workshop. All our workshops are delivered by passionate fully qualified teachers, fully trained and DBS checked.

We embed up to date research and are continuously learning to ensure what we deliver is accurate and having the impact desired. We systematically and continuously measure our impact through ongoing research, feedback and reflection and adapt what we do in response to our findings. Sharing our findings regularly on our blog you can see the impact our wellbeing workshops have.

Lauren Barratt
Director & Founder

Meet The Director

With a passion for promoting mental health and wellbeing, I have delivered over 300 workshop series in the community, online, within schools, colleges and businesses. These workshops encompass a wide range of topics aimed at fostering wellbeing and equipping the participants with the skills and knowledge required for them to manage and maintain their own wellbeing. I have worked with all ages from five-year-olds to ninety-five-year-olds and all in between!

Before starting Wellbeing Workshops I worked as a PE Teacher and hold Qualified Teacher Status, this experience means I am incredibly versatile when it comes to workshop delivery, which is why we are able to create our workshops bespoke. When working in the community we meet our group and then design the workshops specifically for them, when working with an organisation, school or business we work with you to create a workshop specifically for the objectives and aims you would like to meet!

Alongside my teaching experience I also hold a Masters in Psychology and I am a member of the Graduate Membership with the British Psychological Society. The knowledge I developed through my training and my CPD has enabled me to develop a broad knowledge and understanding of psychological concepts and theories, which I know teach within the workshops to help all those that attend understand themselves and their mental health as a deeper level.
